NIFTY Restaurant is an ultimate dining destination. Where you can explore tantalizing menu and reserve your table with ease. And indulge in an unforgettable culinary experience.

Project Overview

The Nifty Restaurant website aims to provide an inviting and seamless online platform for patrons to explore the restaurant's offerings, peruse the menu, and conveniently book tables for an exceptional dining experience. This project aims to enhance customer engagement, streamline reservations, and showcase the culinary delights of the establishment.

My Role

Problem statement

Limited Visibility: Absence from the online space restricts the restaurant's visibility, making it challenging for potential customers to discover its offerings, location, and menu details.

Manual Reservation Handling: The absence of an online booking system may lead to inefficiencies in managing table reservations, relying solely on phone calls or walk-in customers. This can result in missed reservations, overbooking, or under utilization of seating capacity.

Limited Visibility: Develop a visually appealing website showcasing the restaurant's ambiance, menu, and location. Implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve online visibility and rankings on search engines like Google.

Manual Reservation Handling: Introduce an online reservation system on the website, allowing customers to book tables conveniently. Implement a user-friendly interface with real-time availability updates and confirmation emails upon booking.

Qualitative and Quantitative Research

User Research

User research involves studying and understanding the user behaviours, needs, references, and motivations of users to design products or services that cater to their requirements effectively.

Key components of user research include

Understanding user behavior

Identifying user needs

Creating user personas

Usability Testing

Iterative Improvement

Validation and verification

✨✨I've employed a dual-pronged research approach encompassing both qualitative and quantitative analyses. Through qualitative analysis, I conducted in-depth interviews with 15 individuals passionate about discovering new dining experiences, aiming to grasp and address their unique frustrations. Additionally, the quantitative analysis involved surveying a cohort of 20 respondents, allowing for a broader perspective and statistical insights into their preferences.

Meet The Users

In the pursuit of wire frames, I always take the time to step into the shoes of the humans who will be using the product I am to design

User stories Scenarios and task flows helped me prepare for the wire framing process.

User Persona

User Flow

My goal in designing this project was to enhance the customer experience at Nifty Restaurants, streamline the table booking process, and provide online access to the menu. I began by conceptualizing the flow of the design.

Then I came up with the colors fonts and anything to rely on during the project

This represents the visual concept of the design.
